From the first time watching footage of these vessels in action I wanted to add one to my collection. For its size, it would be hard pressed to find a warship packed with more firepower than these rocket ships. This was a conversion using the Iron Shipwrights US Landing Ship Medium kit. In hindsight I should have kept that kit aside and built it as the tank version, as most of this project was scratch built and I could have just carved the hull from balsa wood. My biggest problem was how to build the rocket racks. I came upon the idea of using N scale photo etch picket fencing and that worked great. All the guns are from L'Arsenal. Overall I'm happy the way it turned out, it's a neat little craft.
