1/700 USS Nassau LHA-4 (DML)
The kit used was the Dragon Saipan and the photo etch is from Gold Medal Models. The UH-1N and AH-1W are from White Ensign Models. The CH-46 and CH-53 are from Pit Road. Deck tractors and CIWS's are from JAG.
Modeled as she returned to Norfolk from extensive duty in the Persian Gulf during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. The USS NASSAU served as the Amphibious Force Flag Ship with Admiral LaPlante as commander and General Jenkins as USMC force commander.
