1/245 LST-627 (Lindberg)
This was a very fun kit to build. The kit itself is fine and dosen't need hardly any improvement except for some rigging around the LSU's and a new flag, I used the ship stencils that came with the kit and turned the 762 in to 627 which served in the Pacific theatre. I also invested in some GHQ Mini Armour in 1/285 scale and got some Shermans, Stuarts and Half Tracks but in addition to the scale difference being too big GHQ is so good they would have put this kit to shame so I couldnt put them on the deck. I was turned on to this kit by an online friend of mine and she would be proud of the title of phemale psychopath. She had me to make a RN, LST for her dad's birthday (I build a lot of models for her ) I wish I had kept the photos of the one I had made for her. Anyway she says she knows a friend of hers who is willing to unload all of his Airfix ships on me so expect to see a lot of 1/600 ships under the name of Kieran Griffith.
