1/700 USS Illinois BB-7 (Scratchbuilt)
More of a quick experiment than anything else, build time was around 2 weeks. I built three hulls, rejected one as I scaled out the height of the freeboard wrong (and to think I work with numbers!)and still have a spare hull which I might build as an earlier fit of the class. The hull is laminated plasticard, funnels are aluminium. PE is from WEM, Atlantic and Tom's.
