1/350 USS Arizona BB-39 (Mini Hobby)

This kit just about brought me to the brink of despair - the number of things that needed to be fixed seemed endless. After a while I just ignored certain inaccuracies that were too troublesome to fix. The list of scratchbuilt items include:

  1. Most of the superstructure
  2. 1.1 inch gun tubs
  3. Incinerator
  4. Winches, capstans, anchor chains, other deck detail
  5. Secondary gun casemates
  6. Tops of motor launches with hollow cabins (don't know why I bothered, they should have been covered with canvas)

PE from GMM, boat racks from Tom's, floatplanes from Trumpeter, 5 inch 25 cals from Veteran models.
