1/700 USS Arizona BB-39 (DML)
Project started last summer .I replaced the deck with balsa and scribbed it as i wasnt very happy with the plastic one.All the small details on the deck were either scrapped off the old deck or were scrachbuilt and glued on to the new deck.I replaced the secondary gun shields as well.I used Toms's etched set for the Arizona which is very good (the forward masts are very sensitive once completed ) etched propellers from GMM's 1/700 lex set were added allthough kits props are good as well.I wanted to have the secondary casings open so i recreated the rolled up canvas from putty. The guns themselves were from a spare sprue of the new USS San Diego cruiser from Dragon again.
