1/700 USS West Virginia (Trumpeter)
A somewhat complicated kit with necessary improvements to achieve a good finish. I have represented the 1945 version, having some difficulties due to the small size of the ship.Generic photo-etched parts and Aber cannons have been used. All the anti-aircraft artillery comes from other kits that are somewhat better detailed. The metal masts, chains and various small details have been rebuilt. The paints used have been Vallejo 70903 Intermediate blue, 70995 German Grey, 70907 Pale Gray and 70947 Dark Vermillion and 70985 Hull Red. Riggin with Unicaenis and Veevus.
