1/720 USS New Jersey BB-62 (Revell)
Before Trumpeter issued its modern Iowa-class series, this Revell kit was pretty much your only option in plastic if you wanted to build one of the Iowas in their modernized configuration.
This Revell kit is simple and solid, but basically accurate. It was issued as the New Jersey as she appeared in the 1980s, and appeared along with a Missouri in WWII configuration.
The real New Jersey is now a museum ship in Camden, NJ.
This is an unadorned straight from the box build. I hope to tackle one of the Trumpeter Iowa-class kits in the future - maybe the 1991 Wisconsin.
