1/350 USS Missouri BB-63 (Tamiya)
As is my style, creative license was taken with respect to some minor details, i.e. radar placement, ECM antenna placement, even the paint scheme, to an extent. The model is 95% complete in these pictures…I have some signal flags to add, as well as some small painting details, people, etc.
Jewelry chain was used for the anchors, painted metallic gray. Weathering was done using watercolor pencils. Stretched sprue was used for the rigging. WEM PE was used. Hull was airbrushed. Superstructure, conning tower and other higher decks were a mix of handpainting and airbrushing.
