1/350 USS Missouri BB-63 (Tamiya)
This is my first model build in 45 years. How's that for a break ? Stumbled on your website two years ago and became motivated by all the remarkable works presented by the modelers. So, armed with a new pair of "up close" glasses I began this build. This has been my relearning process aided by all the helpful tips and hints on your website. I am not an Naval engineer, building for relaxation and the enjoyment so, it does not bother me if some thing is 3000 mm out of scale. Life is too short ! The build is OOB with photoetch by GMM. A special thanks to Loren Perry, a true gentleman and a generous one. Tried a different technique on the deck, mixed thoughts on the result. But, here it is warts and all !
