These pics are of my USS Missouri, in WWII colours between Jan and Aug 1945. I have seen many pics of  Missouri models from this period and all of them seem to be different colours - this is my version- as best I can interpret my references. It took first place in the 2002 Melbourne model expo large scale ships.
It is the Tamiya kit and the GMM photoetch set. I hope to see an article published in an Australian magazine called Modelart soon! I hope to show you my HMAS Hobart from White Ensigne Models (ex HMAS Brisbane)in a few weeks.
