1/350 USS Wisconsin - Desert Storm (Tamiya)

Built from the Tamiya kit with Pontos detail set added. Wooden deck toned down extensively with pastel chalks. Northstar crew figures and Bronco Sea Knight helicopter added. Case made by Grandpa's Cabinets.  Rigging is caenis line.  I came across a picture of this USMC bird landing aboard Wiskey during Desert Storm, and immediately knew I had to have it aboard my ship.  This model took 1st place in the Battleships category at the 2019 IPMS-USA National Convention.
