It was a mixed media model; resin hull and superstructure, white metal parts and photo etch.
At first I wanted to make full hull, because of weight, fitting and sanding problems I gave up. I checked most of parts, they were not good, and I had to rely on the Tamiya 1/350 BB-63 for replacements!
The superstructure was very hard to made; the platforms are not straight enough, and required heavy putty work. White metal parts are very bad too, most of them had to replaced- only the photo etch needed no replacement!
The instruction were not clear; lucky I have information from BB-63!
The aircraft are also from BB-63, because of the white metal planes were bad!
The gun barrels are white metal ones but curved then I replaced with Aber's. The 10pcs small gun barrels are from Voyager models and the staircase's PE design was not good it was replaced Gold Medal Model.
Colors are used Japan Gaianotes. The color MS22 was instruction suggestion!
This is not a very good kit! And also waste the BB-63's kits too.
