1/350 DKM Bismarck (Tamiya)
This is the Tamiya 1/350 Bismarck built using Eduard PE Bismarck set, Eduard PE Kriegsmarine figures and Begemot Kriegsmarine transfers. Painted using Tamiya acrylics and Humbrol/Revell enamels and the rigging is 0.12mm 2.4lb fishing line (thanks Richard).
Depicted in the Denmark Strait prior to the engagement with Hood and Prince Of Wales.
I modelled the sea using good old fashioned plaster of paris and painted it with Tamiya semi gloss acrylics and white oil paint. I didn't want the sea too reflective as the weather at this time was poor, so I didn't finish the sea with 'Klear' varnish.
