My latest commission in 1/350, the Revell Bismarck is a very nice kit and a definite improvement upon the old Tamiya kit. However for someone who wants to super detail there is still room available for improvements. I used the old GMM etched set which was designed for the Tamiya kit, as my client requested and as a consequence some parts (catapult for example) are not 100% compatible and they do not fit as they should. Apart from that it is a relatively stress free construction. The sea is made with silicone and mixed cotton in places to simulate the froth and the splashes.
