1/350 DKM Bismarck (Tamiya)
This is my build of the Tamiya Bismarck which took about 3 years to complete. This is the first ship I started but I actually finished it in third.
I used a lot of PE parts from both the GMM and WEM sets. There are also some parts from Eduards and Tom's set. The barrels are the Ultimate set from our late Steve Nutall which are really awesome especially the high angle barrels with their unique shape.
The color scheme is wrong since I started the model using the Tamiya paint instructions and some parts were finished when I started doing some research. I didn't feel like trying to repaint parts that were already finished so I ended up leaving the darker color. After 3 years of work I wanted to finish this model so I took a bit of artistic license.
