1/400 Scharnhorst (Heller)
I built the Scharnhorst in the colour scheme she had during Operation Cerberus in Feb 1942. I used the Tom's Modelworks 1-400 Scharnhorst/Gneisenau detail set & WEM's 1-400 German AA Guns PE set which is well recommended. I used copper tubing for the masts & scratch built a few parts. This is a nice kit, if lacking a bit of detail. It took about 3 months to build.
