1/570 Scharnhorst (Revell Germany)
This model of the Scharnhorst is the first ship I ever built (I was 13). This was a fun, straight-out-of-the-box build, with no additions. At the time, I had access to and airbrush, so that improved the model greatly. Other than the decks and hull, the whole thing is hand painted. Prehaps the most challeging part was the tiny seaplane that was included in the kit. However, the challenge made it fun. Over all, this kit was a great build.
