1/350 DKM Tirpitz (Tamiya)
It took me 8 month to build this Tamiya Tirpitz kit in combination with PE from Eduard and WEM. The resin crew (approximately 190 persons) is from L’Arsenal. Also the Arado planes are from L’Arsenal. For some parts of the rigging I used needles. Especially very fine insect pins with a diameter of 0.1 mm (“Minutiennadeln“) were helpful for the rigging. I used Revell colors for paintbrushing the model and Begemot 1/350 Kriegsmarine Decals. I got some inspiration from the book “Warship Pictorial 26: Kriegsmarine Tirpitz” and especially for the camouflage from the book “Encyklopedia Okretow Wojennych 43 - Kriegsmarine Colors, Vol. 1”.
