1/350 DKM Tirpitz (Tamiya)
The kit is the Tamiya Tirpitz, built with Gold Medal Models original photo-etch set - but I did swipe a few Tirpitz specific parts from that set.
Kit was painted with Tamiya acrylics, depicting Tirpitz as of March, 1944 in Norway. Rigging is nylon quilting thread.
Kit was constructed over 15 years of on and (mostly) off work. That was because I had used an auto-primer on the model which wouldn't allow the styrene glue to cure, so parts kept falling off!
Overall the kit looks okay on my bookcase - hopefully, I'll do a better job on my Tamiya Bismark!
