Battleship Tirpitz by Christoph Mentzel

The lonely queen of the north: the German battleship Tirpitz as she looked like 1942/43. I have been building this kit for five years  since 1999. The casting of the kit is really good. An absolute flat hull and fine cast upperworks. The kits include etching parts for several details.
 
The Tirpitz is one of my favorite battleships of WW II. She has an unique appearance and an unfortunate history. I think the Samek kit is as good as the new tooling from Dragon/Trumpeter and Pitroad but a little more expensive as the plastic kits.
