the lonley queen of the north: the german battleship Tirpitz from Samek in 1/700 as she looked like 1942/43.
 
I have build this kit for five years 1999. The casting of the kit is really good. An absolute flat hull and fine cast upperworks. The kits include etching parts for several details.
 
The Tirpitz is one of my favored battleships of WW II. She has an unique appereance and an unfortunatly history.
 
I think the Samek kit is as good as the new toolings from Dragon/Trumpeter and Pitroad but a little more expensive as the plastic kits.
