1/550 French battleship Patrie (Scratchbuilt)

Here are photos of my model of the French pre-dreadnought battleship Patrie. She was the second of the two-ship Republique class, which was followed by the very similar four ships of the Liberte class, which differed by having single 194 mm guns in their secondary turrets instead of dual 164 mm guns carried by Patrie & Republique. Patrie was active during WWI, participating in the bombardment of the Austrians at Cattaro and the Turks at Gallipoli. She was fortunate to survived the war and the Washington disarmament treaty. She served as a training ship and barracks ship until scrapped in 1937.
