1/350 HMS Hood (Trumpeter)
Here is my 1/350 HMS Hood in May 1941. I added a bunch of PE, a Hunter wooden deck, brass main battery barrels, and Modelkasten 0.10 mm wire for rigging. I scratch built the funnel interiors, added some splinter shields to the forward bridge structure, and made blast bags for the main guns. I made the water base from medium acrylic gel painted Dark Sea Blue, wake is cotton coated with gloss acrylic gel, and then glossed the whole surface with more gloss acrylic gel and a coat of future on top. The kit was very nice and went together without any issues. A very enjoyable build.
