1/400 HMS Hood (Heller)
Heller's 1/400 kit (now produced by Airfix) is not exactly the most accurate or detailed representation of HMS Hood, but is at least cheap compared to the Trumpeter 1/350! I made a lot of scratchbuilt additions and modifications to the kit using styrene stock, metal wire and generic PE. I built it to represent Hood in late 1940, painted in AP507A, before its final refit and repaint.
