1/600 HMS Hood (Airfix)

This is the classic Airfix kit of HMS Hood. It's an old kit with the usual old-molding flaws, but it's hard to go wrong with this subject, a very pretty ship indeed. I painted her in the gleaming, almost-white light gray she wore in the years between the wars when she was the pre-eminent symbol of British naval might.
