1/600 HMS Hood (Airfix)
This was my second warship, but first battleship I'd built, This model was a bit of a challenge for me as you have to put different levels onto the ship as well as trying to get all the colours as correct as possible, I found it quite annoying and frustrating at times as the kit did'nt go together very well, The first level at the back of the ship, did not connect with the right and left side, which made it difficult to put together, anyway I struggled on in the end, painting the small life boats was a bit daunting to, as their just so small and you can clearly see them on show in the middle of the ship. But managed to get them all looking ok. This was quite a hard kit to build as it was my first battleship, but I was really pleased when it was finished, I think its looks great and it's very nice ship.
