1/700 USS Juneau CL-52 (DML)
I have used the Tamiya 1:700 Hood kit and WEM's HMS Hood PE set and also WEM's resin twin 4inch guns, quad 0.5inch machine guns, 8 barrel pom pom mountings with the PE sights off the guns in the PE set and their PE ship's boat set. I have also used parts from the Italeri 1:720 Hood to replace the missing detail of the scuttles, hatches, boat booms and ship's name on the slanted main deck forming the admirals and captains cabins for'd of X turret. I also used the Italeri 15 inch gun turret range finders to correct the Tamiya items. The model is painted with WEM colour coat paints 507B medium grey, steel decks 507A dark grey and the wooden decks a mixture of Humbrol radome tan and 110 natural wood.
