1/700 HMS Hood (Italeri)
This is my model of HMS Hood as of 1924, during her famous Empire Cruise. I used the Italeri 1/720 kit as a base because it's the closest in term of appearance, but it was necessary to ommit some items e.g. the pom-pom AA guns and relocate some boats. The photo-etch and colours are from WEM. The wood deck effect is done by rubbing it with a pencil. This is also my first time using lycra thread for rigging.
