1/350 HMS King George V (Tamiya)
This is ship represents a series of first's, it was the first model ship I've ever completed (3rd started), the first attempt at camo on a ship, the first attempt at rigging and the first go at making a sea base, ive always been really inspired by Kostas Katseas, so i really wanted to try an emulate the look and feel of his works, its a long way short but not bad for a first attempt IMO. I used the WEM Photo-etch, Sea-master Barrels and KA Wood Decks the sea base was made using the Dominique Banton method of foam board and toilet paper. Really enjoyed the build and looking forward to getting on with the next one
