1/570 HMS King George V (Revell Germany)
This is the 2nd battleship I have built, got a good deal with this ship off ebay, just one problem, it had no instructions. This was quite hard to build at times as I just looked at the box and also looked at the shipmodels site to see which one looked the best, Th full ship is hand painted with a bit of rigging on, I decided to add the dark grey stripe on either side of the hull, the same colour in the middle of the ship and the tops if the guns with losing the normal navy grey colour. I love this ship as it was built in the River Tyne at Vickers-Armstrong in 1939, its a bit sad that most of these yards are gone now. But I think my Battleship turned out quite well, and look forward to the next one.
