1/700 HMS King George V (Tamiya)
This is a Tamiya KGV I first built and paint back in 1999. My references at that time were almost non existant so a few mistakes mainly on the painting side were inevitable. I had a second go at it in the summer of 2003 trying to add a bit more detail to it, clean it up (no case) and glue back various pieces that broke away. Finally this summer (2008) the kit received a final overhaul before I decided to put it on a small base for display. Among the new additions, I have replaced the plastic Pom-Pom with etched from Lionroar. I addded crew figures, replaced the masts once again etc.
