1/500 HMS Renown (Scratchbuilt)
This is my attempt at HMS Renown. It is based on the same Revell KGV kit I used for Valiant and will use for Rodney or Nelson. The main battery is from an Eastern Express Ramillies. The hull and some of the decks are of cedar and basswood. My references where a line drawing and a photo of a model. I think she was a graceful design and looks great in her light gray "Med." colors
