1/350 HMS Repulse (Trumpeter)
Trumpeter 1/350 Repulse, with Lion Roar PE set and brass barrels, KA Models' wooden deck and a few Fujimi figures. The Pom Poms have unused rounds added from an old WEM set.
Fit on the kit was so-so, especially between the upper hull and the lower hull; this was not Trumpeter's A team at work. The Lion Roar set was comprehensive and fit well, though there were annoying mistakes on the instructions that had me hunting parts across the seven included PE frets. KA Models deck just slipped into place over the plastic deck, and was even self-adhesive. It was very easy to apply and adds to the look of the ship I feel.
