1/350 HMS Tiger (Scratchbuilt)
Herewith some images f my project for this year; HMS Tiger as in 1913.
The model is entirely scratchbuilt to scale of 1/350.
I have depicted here at anchor with attending vessels.
The model took 704 hours to construct and cost a total cost £49.67...(!) and that is mostly the cost of the glass for the case. Fortunately was able to verify the plans with the records held in the plans department of National Maritime Museum at Woolwich, London .
They also hold many photographs of this vessel, many of whiche were taken by a keen on board photographer.
