1/200 Mikasa (Hobby Boss)
I love the Royal Navy pre-dreadnoughts, but there are none available in 1/200 plastic, so I decided to build the Mikasa from Hobby Boss as an alternate history ship where she was taken over by the RN after being built and served in Victorian colours as this model shows. This was my first build larger than 1/600, and I loved it. The kit has been built 'out of the box' but was fairly straightforward to make, and all the parts fitted superbly.
