This Battleship ship was built up from an old Bandai Kit of the 1/600 scale series Haruna. This was one of those kits intended by Japanese manufacturers to have a giant ugly propeller for a single shaft single rudder, The Hull appears drawn nice but the pagoda tower was terrible. Unlike most Japanese kits were the tower builds up in platforms which looks rather cool, this one had one two halves that glued together to form a tower. Other then being a rare subject for a 1/600 scale Japanese BB It has lots of short comings. I rarely built into this 1/600 scale and never past it. I took a crack at it with some beefed up detailing, PE , canvass/splinter bags & this is what I wound up with. The four propeller, dual rudder set up was scratch built, as was the two main keels on the sides.
