1/200 IJN Nagato 1944 (Scratchbuilt)
Nagato as of 1944. She is plank on frame hull,The upper is balsa skinned with styrene, the only photo-etch is the railings,doors,port holes and the 25 mm guns,They were a pain as there was about 30 of them each one has 25 to 30 parts. the main guns,ships boats,anchors and various other things were cast from resin by me.There is also a fair amount of brass and solder work,masts boat cranes,catapult and such.she was built over a 2 year period with time off in the summer.i thank all the guys on the scatch build section and many others for there help and kind words.
