1/350 IJN Yamato (Tamiya)
Battleship Yamato, 1st Carrier Div., Kure arsenal, March 1945 Tamiya model kit in 1/350 scale, updated with photoetched details parts from Gold Medal Models and several new details (all scratchbuilt) following the refitting of March 1945 for Operation Ten-Go (the suicide attack at Okinawa): almost all the single AA guns replaced with triple AA guns not shielded in exagonal positions; new hexagonal positions for the triple AA guns on the main gun turrets n. 2 and 3; two stern-mounted 25mm AA gun positions; a completely new correct tripod main mast.
