The battleship Conti de Cavour was a dreadnought from the First World War which the Regia Marina had rebuilt extensively before World War Two.
The Conti de Cavour had only a short career in the war. The most important sortie was the Battle at Punta Stilio. In November 1940 she was badly damaged from British Swordfish at the air raid of Tarento and never become ready for combat.
The kit was the old Waveline resin kit. I have used a lot of the new PE from Regia Marina to update the kit.
