1/400 Potemkin (Maquette)
This is the Maquette kit of the Imperial Russian navy's battleship Potemkin. It's an older kit, so there are the usual problems of flash, pin marks, holes, gaps, etc. not to mention general accuracy.
However, it builds up into a fair little kit and the colors of the pre-Russo-Japanese war battleships are a pleasant contrast to the dull grays that followed in navies around the world.
I didn't do too much to this kit except add the rigging from brass and copper wire and some railing around various parts of the ship.
