1/700 USS Texas (Niko)
I've enclosed photos of my latest build, the Niko 1/700 USS Texas, 1895. The kit was built basically out of the box with caenis line and stretched sprue rigging. Although a nice kit, it required more than the usual amount of fitting and adjusting, particularly with the front and rear platforms and the masts. Floquil paints were used, and the bowcrest was sprayed Alclad polished brass. As with almost all Niko kits, it contains virtually everything needed to build a really nice rendering of an early US battleship
