1/350 USS Brooklyn ACR-3 (Iron Shipwright)
Here are some shots of the Iron Shipwright 1/350 scale USS Brooklyn ACR-3. I always liked this ship, its design makes it one of my favourites. I built it without major modifications from the box, except for some exta railings on the deck and some weapons on the fighting tops rows from the spare parts, scratchbuilt doors for the side guns (I found the photoetched ones of the kit really difficult to fit) and the guns themselves, from sprue. I made the roof of the steamboats out of paper, they are not perfect but give a reasonable look. Jim Baumann's version of Brooklyn inspired me.
