The Short Story: -------- CA-28 USS Louisville as she appeared in October of 1944 at the Battle of Leyte Gulf. Ship is camouflaged in Measure 32/6d. Model is an altered Blue Water Navy USS Northampton 1/350 scale kit. Materials used in conversion: balsa wood, bass wood, sheet, strip and tube styrene plastic. Also the usual strips and tubes of various sized brass pieces. A major source of information for the conversion came from Classic Warships "Warship Pictorial #3 - USS Louisville CA-28." -------- Let me know if the pictures arive O.K.
