Hello Again, with what seems to be twin sets of pictures. I had previously sent you pictures of the USS Louisville CA-28 in a dazzle style camouflage pattern. This model is a conversion of the BWN Northampton kit and shows the Louisville as she appeared in October 1944. The pictures of the USS Louisville CA-28 I am sending now are for a completely different model. This model and pictures show the Louisville in her earlier 1943 configuration. You will find two uploaded pictures in this group labled twins-1.jpg and twins-2 jpg. These show the models side by side. Here is the Caption Line: __________________ 1/350 USS Louisville CA-28 - 1943 (Blue Water Navy). CA-28 USS Louisville as she appeared in May 1943 invasion of Attu. Ship is in Measure 21 - Navy Blue 5-N. Model is a Blue Water Navy USS Louisville 1/350 scale resin kit. Straight forward build right out of the box except for the bridge. Major rework there to show actual Louisville bridgework. Bridge that came with the model looks like it came from the older Northampton kit. A major source of information for these conversions came from Classic Warships "Warship Pictorial #3 - USS Louisville CA-28." --------------------------------------------------------------------- [Image] [Image] [Image] [Image] [Image] [Image] [Image] [Image] [Image] [Image] [Image]
