1/350 USS Augusta CA-31 (Iron Shipwrights).
USS Augusta CA-31 as she was at the June 6, 1944 Normandy Invasion. Ship is dressed in Measure 22 Camouflage scheme.
Model is a converted Iron Shipwrights 1/350 Indainapolis kit. Major reconstruction on the hull to shorten it to fit the Northampton style hull. Major work around hanger and area around and including main mast. Ships bridge area was also reworked to fit the Augusta's appearance.
