1/500 USS San Francisco CA-38 (Scratchbuilt)
After many failed attempts to build a modernized New Orleans class heavy cruiser, I am finally happy with this one. This is my "Frisco" in measure 33/13D.
I used a cedar hull and basswood superstructure. Fire control, main battery, and masts are from a Revell heavy cruiser. 5"-25's and the kingfisher's wings are from Revells Arizona. 40mm's are Renwal and 20mm's are from Lindburg.
