Ship is in the new '45 version of Measure 22 with #27 Haze Grey 5-H and #7 Navy Grey 5-N as its primary colors. Model is a Iron Shipwrights 4-046 USS Alaska CB-1 1/350 resin kit with slight modifications to the USS Guam in 1945. Model is true to life as the Alaska as she was built in 1944 when she was in her dazzle pattern camouflage. Had to add a antenna mast aft, reposition some of the ships 20 mm guns, and add the aircraft she carried in 1945. Only problem encountered was in trying to move around this huge one piece hull.
