1/600 DKM Graf Spee (Airfix)
My latest build of the 1/600 scale, Airfix, Graf Spee. Being the first warship sunk at the outbreak of WW2 I have tried to depict her in her final camoflage scheme of December 1939 as she presented in the river Plate at Montevideo. As always with Airfix kits there was a little scratchbuilding involved and use of photo etch to finish the model off and try to make her more realistic. Another enjoyable build thanks to AIRFIX.
