1/350 Prinz Eugen (Trumpeter)
This kit is built more or less out of the box / without major modification.
One modification made is the hangar for the Arado196 plane. A cut
was made in the hangar deck, thus allowing the double depth of the hangar
– down to the next level. This modification is pretty obvious as the height
of the hangar without modification do not allow enough space for the plane!
A wooden deck plus lots of PE-parts (mainly WEM) were added together with
a full rigging made from stretched sprue. The model show “The Prinz” as
she appeared in 1945, a short time before the war’s end. All paint used
supplied by WEM and Revell.
